Dr Barun Kumar Singh is the pre-eminent GI Surgeon in North Bengal, based in Siliguri. With over 12 years of surgical experience and more than 5,000 successful procedures, Dr. Singh has established himself as a leading expert in GI, HPB (hepato-pancreato-biliary), Oncosurgery, and Liver Transplantation.
He completed his superspeciality training in Surgical Gastroenterology from the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, under the mentorship of world-renowned GI surgeon Prof. Samiran Nundy. As part of the liver transplant team there, he contributed to more than 50 liver transplants, as well as complex GI and cancer surgeries.
Currently serving as Assistant Professor at West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Dr. Singh is also actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons.
